Our Favorite Places to See Holiday Lights Around Denver

Our Favorite Places to See Holiday Lights

One of our favorite parts of the holiday season is bundling up, grabbing a warm drink, and heading out to see all the festive lights around the city. Denver and the surrounding suburbs really shine this time of year, and we pulled together a list of our personal favorites to help you plan your own night out seeing lights. 🎄✨

Mile High Drone Shows at Christkindlmarket on Auraria Campus

Through Dec 31st, 600 drones will soar into the sky, creating dazzling displays every night at 7 p.m. for free. The Denver Christkindlmarket is celebrating its 25th Anniversary at their new home on Auraria Campus in Denver.  They have a 110-foot-tall conical structure is 10 feet higher than the tallest Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in history. It contains 60,000 LED lights and can accommodate up to 140 guests under the tree for an immersive viewing experience. Why we love it: The drone show is a new tradition in Denver.

Downtown Denver & Civic Center Holiday Lights

Head over to the City and County Building light show is a classic, bright, colorful, and set against beautiful historic architecture. Plus, the trees along the 16th Street Mall and downtown streets sparkle all season long. Why we love it: It’s totally free, easy to pair with dinner or dessert downtown, and always puts you in a holiday mood . 🎁

Cherry Creek North Winter Wanderland

Cherry Creek goes all-out with more than 600 illuminated trees and a charming, elegant vibe. It’s one of the prettiest places to take an evening stroll during the holidays. Why we love it: You can shop, grab a treat, walk under the lights, and make a whole night of it. It’s festive without feeling overwhelming.
